Wilson-West is the dba of Alex Wilson. This is his story:

Alex Wilson is on his third career.

First career involved marketing for Armco Steel Corporation for 12 years. At the time, the challenge was to make steel (in general) and Armco (in particular) seem contemporary and sexy in the face of heavy marketing by other materials; aluminum, plastics, composites. Mr. Wilson conceived and executed a series of high concept, high visibility projects involving racing cars, drag boats, student design projects and deconstruction of various autos to establish the material content then, amazingly, unknown to the auto manufacturers. In the process, Mr. Wilson served as the Chairman of the Ferrous Committee of the Society of Automotive Engineers.

The second career was acting as COO/CEO of a series of manufacturing and logistics companies over the next 20 years. The companies manufactured industrial doors, renovated period weapons and handled air cargo for foreign flag airlines.

Mr. Wilson's most recent years have been involved with connecting startup companies with early-stage funding, acting as COO for the expansion of an investment banking firm into a ten-partner operation and, most recently, providing business brokerage services for the owners of private companies.

Mr. Wilson studied Mechanical Engineering at Duke University, received his BS in Industrial Design from University of Cincinnati and his MBA in Marketing from Xavier University.

Mr. Wilson has a California license ( CA # 01324058 ) for conducting business brokerage transactions. He is an active member of Professional Networking Group, California Association of Business Brokers, Financial Planners Association of Los Angeles and Association for Corporate Growth.

CHARLES T. MOFFITT

Charles T. (“Chuck”) Moffitt is widely regarded for his work as a management consultant and interim manager. Over nearly twenty years, Mr. Moffitt has served as CEO, COO, or CFO in fourteen companies, combining skills in marketing, finance, strategic planning and personnel management. The common theme of his engagements has been to assist companies in transition, ranging from startups struggling to advance to the next stage of their growth, to well established enterprises in need of fresh perspective, to companies on the edge of insolvency seeking to find a way out. Along the way, Moffitt has served on nine boards of directors, arranged numerous equity and venture capital financings, and structured senior debt packages of up to $100 million. Revenues of companies with which Moffitt has been associated have ranged from several million dollars to nearly half a billion dollars.

Industries in which Mr. Moffitt has worked have included motion picture post production, retail and apparel, food import and distribution, computer hardware and software, telecommunications, tools, aerospace, construction, specialty steel, furniture manufacturing, internet commerce, and others. He has implemented a broad array of initiatives with emphasis on corporate strategy formulation, business transformation, marketing strategy, sales force efficiency and effectiveness, business process redesign, benchmarking, balance scorecard measurement systems, new product development, and technology strategy.

Earlier in his career, from 1978 to 1983, Moffitt was a Vice President at First Interstate Bank where he managed major account relationships including Times Mirror, Southern California Edison and Mattel, in both the International and Los Angeles Metropolitan Divisions. From 1976 to 1978, Mr. Moffitt was Deputy Mayor of the City of Los Angeles directly responsible for policy guidance of twenty city departments with 18,000 personnel and budgets in excess of $4 billion.

From 1972-75, as Special Assistant to the Majority Leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives, Moffitt assisted the Speaker and Majority Leader in planning and implementing legislative strategy. From 1967 to 1971, Moffitt held increasingly responsible posts as a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State, serving as U.S. Consul in Recife, Brazil, and as Chief of Staff to the U.S. Ambassador to Brazil
